    Hello everyone,
I installed Aftershock on my smartphone, it works perfectly when I send a netmail but I don't receive anything, maybe there is some setting on Mystic to do?

    Thanks in advance
    Pino

Assign yourself a point and set it up in Mystic like any other link.

You'll have to shutdown and restart mis for the new config to be read in.

Then send a netmail from your point to Areafix at your node, and add areas as you please.

Alan, thank you very much for your reply, sorry but I didn't understand well, can you help me more specifically?

    Sure.

The first step is to add a linked node in your BBS or tosser config for your point.

My own Aftershock point is 1:153/757.1, so set it up something like that. Use any point number you wish, it doesn't have to be .1 but whatever you choose it has to be set up the same at both ends of the connection.

So set it up on the BBS/Node side and on the Aftershock side, then do some polling and test that you have a secure connection working as expected.

Once that is setup you can Areafix your boss from Aftershock and add areas as you wish or maybe just add the areas manually and the BBS/Node will begin collecting mail that your point will pick up when you poll.

    Go ahead and experiment.

One thing to check is that when you make any changes to linked nodes configuration in Mystic is to be sure to stop and restart mis so that mis will use the new node setup.

Then set it up in AfterShock and poll your Mystic BBS. You should get a successful poll to the BBS. If not the logs on the BBS might give a clue as to what the problem is.

There is only one password setting in AfterShock and that password is used for session, packet, tic and areafix. The session password is case sensitive. PaSsWoRd is not the same as password. So be sure the password is entered the same way in Mystic as it is in AfterShock.

The first thing to do is poll the BBS and be sure you get a successful, secure session.
