    If you want to get rid of the import tariffs imposed by Trump as a country, you must demonstrate to the US that you will reduce trade with China.

    In my view, a hopeless strategy, because it's completely unenforceable, but there's no alternative for China. China makes a lot of stuff that is now only made in China.

    So, this is really going to be a complete failure.

    What else does Trump want to do? Stop aid to countries? Much of that aid has already become extremely uncertain, often even halted. By stopping USAID, he has essentially taken the bargaining chip off the table before negotiations even started.

    Another brilliant move from this master strategist. Apparently, he didn't think that through.

    humanitarian aid to countries that USAID is forced to abandon.
