Yesterday, the gold price increased by nearly 5%. This occurred while the American stock markets declined by an average of 2.5%.
Is Trump's action to undermine the American economy a strategy towards re-election?
Deliberately crashing the economy now to initiate the recovery over the next three years?
People who believe that are still exaggerating Trump's intelligence.
They think Trump is brilliant.
How many times does Trump have to mess things up before you finally start to realize that the man is far from smart?
Trump really doesn't have a well-thought-out strategy. He is only concerned with one thing, and that is his ego.
Linked to that, money and power are enormously important to him. If Trump can become more powerful and richer, he will try to do so, whatever the ultimate consequences may be.
Trump understands little about the economy and international politics. He bluffs his way through everything, and in doing so, he is destroying more than any of us would like.
For Trump, supposedly winning a golf tournament he organized himself is more important than his work as President of the US. If you finally realize that, then you'll start to see the light.
