From Android8675@1:103/705 to Digital Man on Mon Apr 14 14:09:28 2025
    Sorry to bother you Rob,

My email has been borked for a bit, and hoping you can help me diagnose:

Have everything setup to relay via shodan.synchro.net, and I have my domain mx record set to mail.synchro.net

So, when I try to send a message from the BBS to my GMail, the from field is weird:

    From: Android8675 <Android8675@undefined> on Mon Apr 14 13:53:51 2025

(Copied this from the webv4 interface) ...and the sent header reads:

    To: a_____@gmail.com <a_____@gmail.com@a_____@gmail.com> on Mon Apr 14 14:00:50 2025
    Subject: test2

Repeats the outgoing email twice? I can send my .ini bits if that'll help.

Wonder if I should just try to set my mx to direct email the board and see if it works. I imagine the original reason I setup the relay service was because Comcast blocks port 25, but maybe it's not the case anymore.

How are you *creating* the email from the BBS? Does the issue only happen when using one of method (e.g. ecwebv4)?

The best utility to use to view message headers is smbutil (e.g. 'smbutil v /sbbs/data/mail').
